disappears beyond the Western Horizon followed by 12 hours of
daylight completing the 24 hour day, Genesis

NISSAN
is the first month of the Hebrew year which is a moon (month) based
calendar with the start of the new year beginning in spring as
opposed to the Gregorian calendar which has the new year begin in the
dead of winter as viewed from the aspect of the Northern Hemisphere.
