The Lord's Supper was instutited one day before the Jew's Passover, as Jesus was to become the killed lamb of God to cover our sins.

Institution of the Lord's Supper

Luke 22:14-16, "Now when the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 And He said to them, 'With earnest desire I have desired to eat this Passover {supper} with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you that I will not eat of it again until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.' "

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Revelation 19:6-9, "And I heard a voice like that of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, 'Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has reigned. 7 Let us be glad and shout with joy; and let us give glory to Him; for the marriage {supper} of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.' 8 And it was granted to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, pure and bright; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. 9 And he said to me, 'Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.' And he said to me, 'These are the true words of God.' "

The Lord's Supper, should be observed in the spring for the northern hemisphere.
Each household of believers needs to participate as per biblical instruction.

Have a Planned Dinner Meal; Then Follow the Meal With a Proper Symbolic Ceremony in Memory of Christ.

Use a Basin or Tub to Wash One Another's Feet

And Towels to Dry One Another's Feet

Each week examine yourself as to your readiness to partake of this annual special event Christ asked us to remember for him until he returns to partake of it with us in his Kingdom. Luke 22:19.

Do you have anger, Grudges, deceptive behavior, secrets that are not Godly that hurt or harm others or even yourself. God knows and sees all even if your brethren of faith do not. You need to meditate, and pray and be spiritually prepared to partake of the Lord's supper lest you take it unworthy.

What is unworthy? What does Paul mean by “unworthy manner” in 1 Corinthians 11:27-32? Unworthy manner is one in which the participant is not recognizing their unity with Christ and the body of believers that he or she is gathered with. And perhaps even recognizing a wider vision of unity of those who call upon Christ as Lord.

Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary Defines: "unworthy"

It means to be vile, hateful, spiteful, un·wor·thy  (un-wûr′the)

adj. un·wor·thi·er, un·wor·thi·est

1.a. undeserving: of God's notice and consideration.

b. Lacking value or merit; worthless.

2. Not suiting or befitting:

3. Vile; despicable. Being dishonest with anyone, secretive, deceptive; disloyal.

This next week think about this so you are mentally, emotionally, spiritually ready. “Matthew 18:15 Moreover if your brother in church fellowship a brother of faith shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother. Vs. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Vs. 18 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.”

If you have any issue, anger, problem against another person in the fellowship you need to get with them before the Lord's supper and work it out if able with them. So there is no conflict or problem you carry with you into the renewing of your commitment to obey and follow God and be his true servant and child. We must forgive others, to receive forgiveness ourself!

We want to be prepared mentally, emotionally and spiritually as the bride of Christ to clean up and clear away any anger, or lying or any issues we have against anyone in our church fellowship and not hold grudges toward others having forgiveness but not allowing worldly people, actions and beliefs to pull us down or away from God and his word, and righteousness.

This event is a very special Holy time we want to present our self as living sacrifices. Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

The Pope is God on earth – Not True! He is just one example of false and deceptive religious teaching

Sunday is the Lord’s day  – Not True! No scriptural basis, can not be found in the authenic Holy Bible

Christ rose on Sunday, the first day of the week – Not True! He actually arose just before the end of the Sabbath Day

Christians are expected to pay a first tithe – Not True! Tithing is a principal, not a requirement, offer to God as able

All the Holy Days of the Old Testament are to be kept today – Not True! Christ taught salvation to all, more scripture to follow!

Preachers must be taught at bible seminaries – Not True! Study God's word to be approved of God

Church organizations must register with the government – Not True!

We’re going to be raptured away – Not True! God will remove the tares, not the wheat as we inherit the earth

We’re going to go live in Heaven – Not True! The Kingdom from Heaven is coming to earth as God Tabernacles with men.

We become angels when we die – Not True! God is creating us as spiritual Sons and Daugfhters of God

Spirit? Can it die? Well God created spiritual angels...
